Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake said late Friday that the city plans on entering a five-year agreement with a new group to manage the Baltimore Grand Prix, but will not release specific details until Wednesday.
In a statement, Rawlings-Blake said an agreement is "pending final internal review." The plan is to present the final contract to the city's Board of Estimates on Feb. 22.
If the deal is approved, the group would run the Grand Prix through 2016.

A state House committee on Friday passed a bill to issue $80 million in revenue bonds to St. Francis Healthcare System of Hawaii to upgrade the two shuttered Hawaii Medical Center hospitals.
House Bill 2345, which passed the House Health Committee on a vote of 7-0, with three members excused, awaits a hearing in the House Finance Committee before heading to a floor vote.

San Francisco accounting firm Burr Pilger Mayer Inc. said Friday that it will not merge with Southern California’s Windes & McClaughry Accountancy Corp.
