Most changes can be made easily with just three buttons and the cursor pads. Advanced Digital Effects Digital Effects add atmosphere and depth to your sound. The four effects variations can give even a small room the warmth and "live" feeling of a much larger space. Ambience gives each note reverberation. The Ensemble Effect gives tones a "thick", slightly detuned sound. Ambience and Ensemble can be used at the same time, or the Sustain Effect will automatically extend the sustain of every note played on the keyboard. 128 Great-Sounding AWM Voices Instead of giving you a voice preset that sounds just like an acoustic piano, Yamaha gives you eight piano voices. You get different organ voices, as well as guitars, brass, reeds... ; You can play up to 28 notes at one time. And because the voices comply with the GM System Level 1 standard, songs you record will sound the same when played back on other GM equipment.
