While not an all out distortion, the MXR Custom Badass Modified Overdrive has killer tones for rock, blues and beyond. With the usual lineup of suspects, such as volume, tone, and gain, you can coax some great tones, but throw in the new 100Hz knob and Bump switch and you are exploring new sonic territory. The Bump switch is an alternate EQ switch that adds a bump in the mid and low frequency range. The 100HZ knob acts as a boost/cut filter on the 100HZ frequency of the guitar.
