The Pad will attach to SWIFFER wetjet as a clean MOP PAD. It is reusable and washable. The pad was made of double layer of Terry CLOTH/ polyester, which is handmade and eco-friendly cleaning.
1. Why made with DOUBLE layer of terry cloth/polyester, NOT simpler SINGLE layer Shammy cloth?
We did try use Shammy cloth before, which is cost-saving (cheaper material, easier production and lighter for shipping). However, it fails in many ways. First, once it grabs some dirt, it sticks to pad permanently and never goes off. The pad has to be toss away after several times usage. Second, it has problem in absorbing water. Due to its thin layer, the dirty water will squeezed back to floor once you push the mop. Then after several jets, you will find the floor is still wet and dirty. Cheap one layer of shammy cloth will just kill the main point of the mop--wet jet!! The worst thing about the shammy cloth is, it is torn apart so easy that you actually spend more rather than saving money!
One side of my pad is made with 100% cotton terry cloth, which is as thirsty as your shower towel. That's why we get back to terry cloth, and so far this is the best option on the market!
2. Why not use Velcro to make sure the pad can attach the holder?
I initially choose Velcro and it does attach the holder but makes the pad uneven! The consequence of using Velcro is the pad "attach" evenly only to the holder but not to the floor!!! Do you really want your pad only work with the holder? I guess not. I tried a lot of different materials and only Terry cloth give satisfied result and best feedback! The terry cloth will attaches to both the holder and the floor evenly.
Try this refilled pad for your SWIFFER wetjet! You won't regret!!
It will definately save you a lot and also keep the floor clean.
