The VP180 uses six drivers: two 6.5-inch aluminum-cone woofers, two 5.25-inch aluminum midranges, and two 1-inch titanium dome tweeters in a horizontal array arrived at after months of listening tests to music and dialogue program sources, on- and off-axis. All this is contained within a ported, bass-reflex cabinet, with a 4-ohm impedance.
Remember, this center is not for the faint of stand! At 56 pounds / 26kg, you'll need to either floor-mount it, taking advantage of its tapered edges to angle the dialogue at the listeners, or you'll need a very sturdy stand, such as our new dual-custom aluminum stand.
