The Panda Mat has been engineered to provide your baby with a SAFE, NON-TOXIC, EDUCATIONAL and ECO-FRIENDLY place to build motor skills (push-up, roll and crawl) and to play.
It is no ordinary "tummy time" or "activity mat", it is much larger and designed to be SAFE. This a premium product that is not available in stores.
HUGE!! Over 28 Square Foot for baby and loved ones to all play together. Size 4.69' (56") wide x 6.1' (73") long. 1" thick mat. Washable, 100% organic printed cotton fabric (GOTS Certified).
The Panda mat does not contain formamide, phthalates, formaldehyde, PFOA's, PVC, harmful fire retardant chemicals or Azo Dyes. No off-gassing. No smells.
The organic cotton fabric is quilted to a viscose fire barrier that contains no chemical flame retardants.
Please note the mat is constructed with fiber based materials (organic cotton, bamboo and polyester) and it does not contain foam. This means no polyurethane, eva, or the off-gassing associated with such products. That being said, it does not have the impact absorption of a foam product. The support provided by the 1" thick bamboo and polyester fiber blend core provides perfect support for your little one... not too hard or soft but it still provides decent cushion for those inevitable stumbles. Also if your little one is in that awkward tipsy stage while sitting up; the Panda Mat is large enough that it can be folded in half to provide additional protection.
The core contains 10% bamboo and is the maximum we could put into the product as bamboo is a stiff fiber but rapidly renewable fiber that is grown with no fertilizers or pesticides.
