Product Description
New York Times bestselling author Mary B. Morrison sizzles with her edgy, new novel Who's Loving You. When Honey Thomas receives a sudden stroke of good luck, she gets a second chance--and the man of her dreams. But as Honey is about to discover, anything worth having in life comes with a high price... P After police officer Sapphire Bleu steals $100,000,000 from seedy pimp Valentino James, she gives half of the money to prostitute and madam Honey Thomas. Now with her pimp in jail and enough money to make a fresh new start, Honey can leave her old life behind in Vegas and begin a new life in Atlanta, where she hopes to fulfill her dream of opening a counseling center to help victimized women. And if that weren't enough blessings to count, Honey's in love with her man Grant Hill. But just when Honey thinks she's finally getting a break, her past suddenly comes back to haunt her... P Handsome, upstanding Grant Hill is Honey's idea of perfection. He's sweet, tender, and can make love to her long into the late hours of the night. No one has ever made her feel this way before. And she's certain, Grant is falling hard for her too--until his brother, Benito Bannister, tells him about Honey's days as a hooker. Stung by Honey's betrayal, Grant wants nothing more to do with her. P PDevastated by Grant's rejection, Honey isn't ready to let go of the best thing that's ever happened to her. She's got to find a way to convince him of her love. But Benito is doing everything in his power to keep her from Grant--and he's got his own deadly agenda. Teaming up with Valentino, Benito devises a plan for getting back the pimp's money. P PWith her life in danger, Honey goes on the run and in search of Sapphire Bleu, the only person who can help her. But when Sapphire Bleu turns up missing, Honey just might have to revert to her old tricks to save herself--and return to the only man she's ever loved...

1 out of 5 stars Horrible, Horrible, Horrible   January 5, 2009

This was the first book I bought in this series, and there was no background explaining the characters. I am no prude, but the language in this book was so filthy and so repetitive, with absolutely no relation to the plot, that I stopped reading at page 50. This woman cannot construct characters that are interesting, she cannot write a sex scene that shows any intimacy or caring, and every stereotype that is negative about African-Americans is repeated on every page. I regret spending any money for this book, and my actual review is NO STARS AT ALL.

I just finshed reading this book and I must say I enjoyed it, however, the ending was messed up. If there is going to be a part 3 it really needs to be put out as soon as possible. I am a fan of Mary B and have always enjoyed her books, but this one left you hanging.

MBM shocked me with "Sweeter Than Honey". She has redeemed herself with "Who's Loving You" but she's still not back on her A-game. I'm still going to keep up with the series and I'm hoping that they'll just keep getting better with each book.

If you liked Sweeter than Honey, you have to read "Who's loving you". I loved this book. Couldn't put it down. Finished in a day and a maybe an hour. Fell asleep reading it because I didn't want to put it down and woke up and finished the last chapter. The writing was outstanding and the characters were great. I even loved the funny parts. Everything in this book is so real. The opening " A special message to women everywhere" was outstanding!!!!!!!! I will defitely share that part with my teenage daughter. The poem at the end was real also. The book overall was definitely five stars to me. It really keeps you going and anticipating what's going to happen next. I LOVE THE STRENGTH AND WISDOM OF HONEY. You really need to read "Sweeter than Honey" first, so you won't be as lost with what's going on. She does recap but I feel reading the first one will help you appreciate this one better. br / br /My only problem was I didn't know it was a sequel now I'm anxious to know the ending. It would have been nice if a chapter to the sequel was in it. I hope I don't have to wait long.

4 out of 5 stars An Immediate Page Turner   October 18, 2008

This book is a quick read, mainly because you can't put it down once you begin. I like Morrison's use of words throughout the book. Don't leave it lying around if you have children. Some of the language is pretty vulgar. All in all it's a great book.
