| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Personology started as a study to categorize a definitive number of different types of people. Originally people were categorized using facial features. A scientist, Goldschneider, took these studies further and argued that people born on each day of the year share certain traits and characteristics. He teamed up with Elffers and categorised 366 different types of people. Feedback from their book has shown that these categorizations are 80% accurate. Their book 'The Secret Language of Birthdays' is absolutely brilliant. It is eerie to read your own day and reckon with it. Goldschneider and Elfeffs categorises people into the respective star signs as we know them, but I am going to show you why star signs categorisations have shifted along so that most people should be categorised by the previous star sign. For example: most Pisceans are Aquarians; Arians are Pisces; Taureans are Arians; and Gemini's are Taurians; etc. Despite the categorisations being incorrect, the descriptions are still accurate. They might have portrayed certain traits depending on the star sign, but the details are so specific that it goes beyond that.
Goldschneider soon realized that the date itself must have meaning. He went on to write a book with 52 different descriptions to describe how we all feel at each week of the year. This was also a good book but he obviously did not put any thought into the fact that it was irrevelant to people in the southern hemishphere. It discussed snow at christmas time and summer days in July. It is quite amazing that they could write so accurately about Personology yet they did not write for everyone in the world.
One day I thought to myself, 'if personology can be associated with every week of the year, then it could also be associated with larger cycles'. There is such thing as a kind of 'star year'. I matched Personology with the much longer year referred to as the Great Year or the Platonic Year which lasts more than 24,000 years and identified a Platonic Day which may have lasted around 70 years at some time on earth (divide 25,600 / 365.25 days). There is a twist.
We've all heard of the song 'this is the dawning of the age of aquarius' from the 60s. This song will help us identify the current Platonic Date to apply Personology to. We all use expressions like 'in this day and age'. An age is one star sign in the Great Year or 2000 years approximately. Isn't it interesting that some of us believe in Astrology instinctively yet we have no proof, and we use that expression yet we don't even know what it means. It is the end of the age of Pisces and the beginning of the age of Aquarius. This is accepted scientifically, and by the church! Every year the Pope says this is the dawning of the age of Aquarius in a speech. Does the church know more than we think?
What is the date of the Aquarius-Pisces Cusp? Because that is the Platonic Date. Most will say around February 20. Its March 10. Why? The current method for setting dates for star signs was set in place in the year 140 AD and it hasn't been updated since. A little research will show that this is true. The dates for our horoscopes are out-of-date. Newspapers all use the wrong dates for horoscopes!
Now that we have a date for the dawning of Aquarius we should cross-check with Astronomists. The International Astronomical Union (IAC) is an Authority that we can refer to. Scientists are arguing about the official date of Aquarius because the Precession speeds up and slows down at times. The Platonic Date can be roughly found by anyone by simply looking at the horizon before sunrise in the direction opposite the rising sun during the Vernal Equinox (official first day of spring). The star sign on the horizon represents the Age or Platonic Date, and it may not be visible because it would be below the horizon. Astronomists firmly believe Aquarius will not be on the horizon for another 100 years at least.
