You can quickly and accurately look up any word and examine the passages in the Big Book and the 12&12 where that word appears. You can use a single copy of “164 and More” on up to 6 Kindle or supported devices (iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, computers). Everything is stored on your hand-held device; neither cell phone coverage nor internet access is necessary.
The Kindle Edition contains passage lists for the 8,000 unique words in the Big Book “Alcoholics Anonymous” and the “Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions.” There are over 53,000 passages containing these 8,000 unique words. Each passage is identified as to the book (BB or 12&12) as well as the chapter name and page number. Big Book page numbers are for the Fourth Edition. For each passage containing your word, the full sentence is displayed. Significant words are linked so you can easily jump to another word of interest.
With a touch-screen Kindle or a smart phone, tablet or computer, “164 and More” can be used without having to type anything. Simply tap a letter of the alphabet and select your word of interest from a list of words beginning with that letter.
With a Kindle Keyboard or Kindle device, key a few letters into the search box at the bottom of the screen. As you key each letter, a list of matching words appears. Select your word of interest.
LINK FROM OTHER eBOOKS: If you have other recovery eBooks on your Kindle device, you can link to “164 and More” from those eBooks. Select a word of interest in the other eBook; “164 and More” will display all occurrences of that word in the Big Book and the 12&12.
